Kicking the list off is Lady Gaga whose Carpool Karaoke episode came out in October 2016. As of July 2020, the episode has over 70 million views on Youtube and in the episode, Gaga and James sung plenty of the singer's biggest hits such as "Poker Face," "Born This Way" and "Perfect Illusion."

At one point, the two even switched places and Lady Gaga was driving after James complained that he is always the one that does all the driving in these episodes.

Number nine on the list of the most viewed Carpool Karaoke episodes goes to the one with British singer Ed Sheeran. The episode was released in June 2017, and it currently has over 75 million views on YouTube.

In the episode, Ed performed some of his biggest hits such as "Shape of You" and "Thinking Out Loud," as well as Justin Bieber's "Love Yourself" and One Direction's "What Makes You Beautiful." And in true Ed Sheeran manner — he brought a guitar for the ride!

The only celebrity that is not a musician but has still made it onto this list is former First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama. Michelle‘s episode of Carpool Karaoke was released on YouTube in July 2016 and four years later, it has over 76 million views on the platform.

In the episode, Michelle and James sing along to quite a few hits such as Stevie Wonder's “Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I’m Yours,” as well as Beyoncé's "Single Ladies." Number seven on the list goes to Jennifer Lopez whose episode of Carpool Karaoke premiered on The Late Late Show with James Corden in March 2016.
